JAMES P. BOWEN

James P. Bowen is a financial expert, with extensive experience in Mergers & Acquisitions and finance. His ability to quickly understand a company’s complex financial structuring, develop business plans and successfully negotiate large financial deals, brings realistic planning to Valued Places.

Jim is highly knowledgeable and experienced with a number of fund-raising methods, including raising startup capital for new ventures, bridge financing, creative debt arrangements, primary equity and a variety of securities-related techniques.

Jim specializes in forming ventures to redevelop prime resort locations in highly sought-after areas. This process involves locating appropriate sites, owner negotiations, financing, team building and sales and marketing.

RICHARD E. HULBERT

Richard E. Hulbert is an experienced large scale Development Planner and Design Consultant specializing in market driven, mixed use, multi-phased, community planning and design.

Based in West Vancouver, Canada, he is internationally known for his award winning work in comprehensive master planning, urban design, themed commercial projects as well as residential projects. Over the past 30 years, as Principal of The Hulbert Group and former Director of the American Resort Development Association, Richard has been advising some of the hospitality industry’s most established and influential development and construction companies.

Michael Bowen

Masters Degree in Economics from Florida State University

Dave Mason

Dave is an experienced public affairs professional with an extensive background in public policy, government relations, community relations and political campaigns. Dave’s broad background allows Valued Places to manage complex development projects with significant policy and political challenges.>

Dave is a public policy expert in the areas of land use, transportation, flood protection, water resources and urban redevelopment. 

Before joining Valued Places, Dave was Manager of Regional Policy and External Relations for the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce where he served as the primary liaison to local, state and federal governmental agencies on regional public policy issues. Dave also managed the Chamber’s regional numerous public policy committees and task forces. 

Before joining the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, Dave worked for a number of political consulting firms including Kaufman Campaign Consultants of Sacramento, California and a number of elected officials including California State Senator Tom Torlakson

Charles Hall

Charles Hall is based in Tyler, Texas where he coordinates the Texas operations for Valued Places.

Charles is a business professional with broad a range of experience and knowledge of managerial, financial and analytical business planning. Active in numerous non-profit organizations and boards over many years, he has an extensive background in community relations.

Before joining Valued Places, Charles retired with a successful 35 year career with Bank of America. He specialized in Retail Bank Operations, managing Banking Centers and serving in a senior management position.
